With the Iowa Presidential Caucuses looming ahead on February 1st, I wondered if divorce rates differ between Democrats and Republicans.  I found several articles that discuss this question, and one of the most interesting facts I found was that Iowa has the third LOWEST divorce rate in the nation (actually it was a tie between Iowa, Pennsylvania and New York).  Iowa also has one of the lower rates of marriage, which could partially explain the lower divorce rate.  The biggest factor in the divorce rate seems to be age.

Whatever your political affiliation is, I encourage you get out and vote on February 1st, and let your voice be heard.
